For second semester final project we were asked to create a 20 page magazine spread, theme and style were free.
I decided to create a magazine that dives into the differences that make an artist who they are. I chose a handful of artists I am inspired by everyday and asked them a set of questions. The interview questions were designed to expose the core motivation for their creativity whilst also showing the reader the product of said creativity. The design and layout of the project was done to give the magazine its own voice and style whilst also being accommodating to the aesthetic of each artist's work. The use of the scanned items and handwritten notes was done to give a personal touch to the pages, some of the items even coming from the artists themselves. These were edited and composed on Photoshop while the laying and overall composition was done on Indesign.
